Can a child seat and Rear trailer be attached to the bike?

Yes. We highly recommend a child seat or a rear trailer for the Dolphin or the Beluga because they have a more robust battery capacity to tow the extra weight.

Could I change the seat(saddle) for a different one?

Yes. If you find it necessary, you can buy a more comfortable or softer seat at your local bicycle shop or online. The seat mounts are universal to any standard bike seat.

How to ensure battery life and performance?

To ensure the lifespan and performance of your electric bike's battery, here are some key practices to follow:

Proper Charging: Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for charging your electric bike's battery. Use the recommended charger and avoid using incompatible or low-quality chargers. Charge the battery at room temperature and avoid extreme temperatures that could damage the battery.

Avoid Overcharging: Do not leave the battery connected to the charger for an extended period once it is fully charged. Overcharging can degrade the battery's performance over time. Unplug the charger once the battery reaches its full charge level.

Regular Use: Regularly use your electric bike and avoid long periods of inactivity. Batteries perform best when they are regularly cycled. If you won't be using the bike for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to around 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.

Storage Conditions: When storing the bike or battery for a longer duration, ensure it is kept in a cool and dry environment. Extreme temperatures can adversely affect the battery's performance and lifespan. Avoid leaving the battery in direct sunlight or exposed to extreme cold.

Avoid Deep Discharges: Try to avoid fully discharging the battery. Lithium-ion batteries used in electric bikes prefer partial discharge cycles rather than deep discharges. Recharge the battery when it reaches around 20-30% capacity to prolong its lifespan.

Battery Care: Keep the battery clean and free from dirt, dust, or moisture. Regularly inspect the battery for any signs of damage or swelling. If you notice any abnormalities, have it checked by a qualified technician.

Safety Precautions: Follow safety precautions provided by the manufacturer when handling the battery. Avoid exposing the battery to water, fire, or extreme physical impact.

Manufacturer's Guidelines: Always refer to the manufacturer's specific guidelines and recommendations for battery maintenance and care. They will provide detailed instructions tailored to your specific electric bike model.

By following these tips and adhering to the manufacturer's guidelines, you can help maximize the lifespan and maintain the performance of your electric bike's battery. Regular maintenance, proper charging practices, and attentive care will ensure optimal battery performance and a more enjoyable riding experience.
